With every encounter,
your own cultural story grows.
Read the film description
The film moves from the creation of paintings and craft objects to people viewing works and recording encounters with photos and QR codes. Noh, Kabuki, opera and ballet connect the time spent enjoying a performance with the moments spent preserving its impressions afterward. Visits to architecture and castles also come together in LEGASEE’s cultural journal, forming a personal collection of culture.
FAQ
Before you begin.
Can I use LEGASEE without buying a work?
Keeping a cultural journal and discovering works and creators that interest you are also ways to enjoy LEGASEE. Buying does not need to be your only reason for using it.
What is the difference between a cultural journal and owned works?
A cultural journal records your impressions of works, exhibitions and experiences. Owned works lets you organize information about works in your collection. You can also record exhibitions seen and works purchased or acquired outside LEGASEE.
Can I record experiences beyond art and craft?
LEGASEE is designed for a wide range of cultural encounters, including Noh, Kabuki, opera, ballet, architecture, castles and tea gatherings. When using photos, please follow the venue’s photography rules.
Can I introduce my works and activities without selling them?
You can share information about works, exhibitions and other activities without selling. Alongside individual creators, galleries, museums, companies and organizations are also intended to use these features.
What do I need to sell works?
Separate from account registration and publishing activities, you need seller verification and agreement to the sales terms. Check the service website for guidance specific to the works and selling method.
Does registering a work also issue a HAKOGAKI?
Adding a cultural journal entry or registering an owned work does not automatically issue a HAKOGAKI. HAKOGAKI is a system for checking the authenticity of eligible works and certifying and recording their origin and provenance. Check each work’s information for eligibility and issuance conditions.
